Art Camp

Our summer camps aim to introduce various fine art techniques through fun activities.  During our "Fun for the 4th" week, students will create patriotic art inspired by the 4th of July holiday.  We will use various art mediums such as colored pencils, acrylic paint, oil pastels, and watercolor resist.  Every day, students will add their work to a portfolio they've created to collect their work throughout the week.  On Friday, they will bring their portfolio home full of beautiful masterpieces.

Clay Camp

Our clay camps offer a variety of fun and messy techniques for kids to work with clay. During our "Don't Eat the Clay" weeks, they will make food-related projects like cereal bowls, candy dishes, and bird fruit feeders. On Friday, they will have the chance to glaze their creations. We'll then dry and fire their clay, and the projects will be ready to pick up in about three weeks. A fantastic, messy adventure your child will love!

Our clay camps offer a variety of techniques for working with clay, including Mud Masters weeks, where students create unique pieces like Garden Gnomes, Totem Poles, and Lanterns. They make different clay projects each day, and on Fridays, they glaze their masterpieces. We then fire their clay in a bisque and glaze fire, and the finished projects are ready to pick up in about three weeks.

  • Yes, if siblings fall into separate sessions and it’s easier for them to attend together, you may choose which session they both attend. Please call the studio if you have any questions.

  • No, we will not provide any snacks or drinks. We will have a break each day and you may send a drink bottle and simple snack for them to enjoy.

  • Please keep in mind that during our art projects, things may get a little messy. So, we advise that you do not send your children in their best clothes. While clay can be washed out of clothing, other projects may cause staining. As a precaution, we recommend that you send in an old adult button-down shirt or t-shirt that can be disposed of at the end of the camp if you are worried about stains.
