Mark & Ginny Taylor

Local artists to Hilton Head Island, Mark & Ginny opened IDEA Studio in 2012. Originally an art studio of the instruction of children, it didn’t take long before adults wanted in on the fun! Mark & Ginny enjoy teaching and creating in a number of mediums but truly enjoy collaborating together in clay

Joey Taylor

Joey is Mark & Ginny’s youngest son and is an active resource around the studio. An eagle scout, he can’t get enough “fire” in his life… and loves when we pull out the raku kilns! Joey specializes in alternative techniques, teaches beginning wheel classes and manages our “Open Potter’s Wheel” on Thursday nights at the studio.

Alysia Brazin

Studio member Alysia Brazin, resides both on Hilton Head and the great city of Boston MA. where she has a home studio. A native New Yorker, she worked as a ceramicist and an optician. So you can clearly see how wonderful her work is! 😉 Alysia works primarily in porcelain and makes functional pieces.

Jerry McGee

As a potter working primarily on the wheel, Jerry creates unique pieces, usually one of a kind and often with a Celtic design. “My journey through life has been as a professional musician. Stemming from my experience with music, I am drawn to the rhythm, form and symmetry of wheel-thrown pottery.

Juliana Migliorino

Juliana's passions extend far beyond pottery; she's also a plant enthusiast, yoga instructor, and devoted mom to her pets, including dogs, ducks, and chickens. Presently living in Beaufort, Juliana is committed to creating beautiful pottery and enriching the lives of our studio community.
